SantaClara University – Life Invented

LIFE INVENTED MULTIMEDIA DESIGN

Santa Clara University and A Circle asked that I develop and produce multimedia content for podcast distribution, live event presentations, website, social media platforms, and ongoing direct email campaigns. The original two projects were a podcast and video series that would be used in support of each other as well as independently, along with visual branding elements for onsite presentation and digital distribution. Using the established SCU brand identity and admissions communication guidelines, I translated the catalogue theme, Invent the Life You Want to Lead, into the LIFE INVENTED podcast and created videos and visual assets suitable for all online social and marketing distribution channels as well as live campus admissions events and tours.

Visual storytelling: Creating the Life Invented Audiogram Series

Concept:
Santa Clara University and A Circle asked that I adapt the podcast audio to a visual storytelling model for visual distribution channels, social media, direct email campaigns, and live presentations at visitor events and open houses.
Design:
This allowed the podcast episodes to expand its audience and for admissions staff to utilize the audio assets in their visual presentations for prospective students and alumni events.
Success:
The Life Invented campaign focused on students and alumni as social justice warriors, celebrating diversity and working for inclusion. The campaign was critical to increasing applications from both international, transfer, underrepresented and first generation college students, as well as for recruiting a more diverse staff and faculty. Due to it’s success the content scope was expanded to donor engagement and featured alumni such as Steve Nash and Lloyd Pierce.
