Designing an Online Conference Experience
What if we could have all of the benefits of a professional conference without the travel, expense and interruption of our professional practice?
Concept:
Create an online learning experience where Health Professionals could learn cutting edge treatment techniques through video streaming, audio downloads, interactive Q&A and expert guidance through the learning experience.
Design:
The conference experience was scaled up from an existing online learning series providing Accredited Continuing Education Units for doctors, psychiatrists, therapists, social workers and additional health care professionals working with trauma victims.
The design process resulted in a one page online portal with a video player and learning materials available on one page that was live for the day of the class and a designated period immediately following.
Develop:
The conference development involved CEU requirements gathering, establishing the technical requirements to capture and present the content as well as the minimum requirements for registrants to be able to view and interact with the live sessions. establishing a curriculum.
The additional requirement of on demand viewing and subscription content resulted in integrating a membership level to the ITT Website and expanded the scope of content to aggregate and deliver to registrants.
